Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American TV presenter, model and actress - is an American comedian. Panganiban (also called The New Queen Of Drama) is considered by various media outlets to be one of the Philippines most versatile, experienced and knowledgeable actors. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012 when she was only 4 years old. She was diagnosed with double pneumonia due to an aggressive strain of strep-pneumococcal. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston gave her ECMO which is a lifesaving treatment. She became septic, had kidney failure and organ failure that did not recover. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis became her new normal. For the eighteen days she was in the hospital, her life was changed completely. Angelica's entire life was altered after her dialysis for kidneys. She would receive the donated kidney from her mother. Angelica as well as her mom, underwent an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were close to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always wanted to be an actress and a singer she is still working toward the dream.
