Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - also popularly known as Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. She gained fame after her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who,' a British science-fiction television show. Gugu achieved a lot of acclaim for her performance as Tish Jones, the sister of a major character called Martha Jones, in the drama. Handler was raised in a wonderful area with a great family. As she entered her twenties Handler moved in Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Handler started performing to earn income. Handler made the decision to focus on stand-up comedy when she was 21, when she recognized her story telling abilities. Her career began as an actress on the cast that included all females for the Oxygen channel's reality-TV series Girls acting poorly. The show featured a combination of hidden cameras and practical humor. The reality series was on from 2002 to 2005.
