Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert, born January 27, 1970, is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was formerly a government official. She served as Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.



 



 Before becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert was also acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy in the Trump government, from March 2018 to October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
